Black Ribbons

If you like psychedelic music peppered with social commentary, wry humor, searing guitar solos and even a few visits from our old pal Uncle Stevie (King, that is) I recommed you check out Black Ribbons.

This is the latest album from Shooter Jennings, and one of the more interesting musical experiences I've had in a while.

Prepare to dedicate yourself to the whole experience. This sprawling concept album was not built around singles, but designed to take you on a midnight ride on empty highways, past deserted roadhouses, into a not-too-distant future where forces of suck are about to snuff out the last bright spot on the radio dial.

Buy the album. Push PLAY. Sais Jennings and King will do the rest.
